is a karate club situated in Fresnes, a town in the south suburbs of Paris.

 

The founding values of the Club are: to study, develop and transmit the teachings of Jundokan Goju Ryu Okinawa Karate Do, one of the most reknowned karate schools in Okinawa, Japan, founded by Sensei Eiichi Miyazato.

 

Goju Ryu karate is a style adapted to all, whatever the age, gender or physical abilities. It is not required to possess particular athletic skills, what is more important is the desire to learn and the determination to progress.

 

In traditional karaté, a practitiioner is only in competition with himself/herself to improve day after day his/her mastering of the techniques.  In Japan karate is a martial art that is thought of as a way of life; it combines physical activity, self-control, patience, respect and politeness.

 

Our club attempts to recreate the way karate is practiced in Okinawa, in a friendly and family atmosphere.

 

Our instructors are all graduates from the Jundokan So Honbu Dojo, in Okinawa, as well as from the French Karate Federation (FFKDA).
